YOSAKOI
× SAKERAMA
Tradition isn’t a museum piece — it’s a movement. Following the same philosophy as the craft sake revolution, Yosakoi takes a classic art form and pushes it into the future.
Experience Singapore’s first dedicated Yosakoi showcase: a high-energy fusion of traditional Japanese festival culture and modern beats, and the visual heartbeat of SAKERAMA.
WHAT IS YOSAKOI?
Born in Kochi Prefecture in 1954, Yosakoi is an energetic, highly choreographed dance style that blends traditional movement with modern music, colourful costumes, and the distinctive clack of naruko wooden clappers. Vibrant, inclusive, and loved across generations, it has grown into one of Japan’s most celebrated modern festival traditions.
